Summary
The Department of Family and Community Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine (Family and Community Medicine-BCM) is seeking a family medicine faculty member to join our team, which is committed to providing care to diverse and underserved populations in the Greater Houston and Harris County area. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity, if desired, to participate in academic activities which support medical student education and research. This position will provide direct patient care services at the Same Day Clinics, our affiliate facilities. Currently this facility is designated as a patient centered medical home by NCQA and provides comprehensive medical services.
Job Duties
Duties include direct patient care and, if desired, educating medical students and participating in clinical research.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education Required: M.D. or D.O.
• Experience: Residency training in Family Medicine. Prior experience in urgent care or a clinical practice setting is preferred but not required.
• Certification/Licenses/Registration Required: Texas Medical Board License and Board Certification in Family Medicine are required. Baylor allows a grace period of four years from the residency graduation date to pass the boards.
