Job Description:

As an Assembly and Repair Technician, you will be responsible for the disassembly, dimensional and visual inspection, and cleaning of nuclear (additional certification required) and fossil valves. Additionally, there is a machining path for the right candidate that requires the person to run manual machines including radial drills, small lathes, horizontal boring mills, and vertical boring mills.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assemble, inspect, clean and test energy industry valves.

  • Operate manual machines, including radial drills, lathes, and mills.

  • Set up, adjust, and operate machines according to repair/assembly needs.

  • Read and interpret detailed drawings/sketches, blueprints, manufacturing instructions, and identify necessary tooling to perform required machining operations.

  • Use material handling devices to load/unload parts from machines and/or assist crane operator.

  • Follow established procedures to operate machinery and equipment.

 

Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered:

  • High School Diploma/GED
