Position: AssemblerAdecco Staffing is currently assisting a local client in hiring a Assembler in Normal, IL. We are looking for an ideal candidate with manufacturing or mechanical experience, team-oriented mindset, and reliable work ethic.
Role SummaryIn this role, you will assemble mechanical components according to customer specifications and work instructions while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble mechanical parts per work instructions and customer specifications
Inspect parts and identify defects Inspect assembled components and identify defects or quality issues
Operate hand tools and basic assembly equipment safely and effectively
Read and follow production labels, work instructions, and standard operating procedures
Follow all safety and quality procedures
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Perform other duties as assigned by department leadership
Preferred Background
High School Diploma or GED required
Manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience preferred
Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions
Strong attention to detail and quality
Team-oriented mindset and reliable work ethic
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand between 8 and 10 hours per day and walk up to 5 hours per day
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs without assistance
Ability to perform repetitive hand motions and fine finger dexterity
Ability to stoop, reach, push, and pull as needed
Good vision (including color vision), hearing, and speaking ability
