Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Current California physical therapy license or license for the state where practicing required prior to the start of the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience evaluating and treating outpatient orthopedic and musculoskeletal injuries in a clinic setting.
• Experience communicating treatment plans and progress reports to medical teams, including orthopedic and specialty surgeons.
• Ability to collaborate with clinic staff to identify and resolve patient care issues.
• Preferred: prior outpatient clinic experience and familiarity with documentation systems used in outpatient orthopedic settings.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.
• Shift Name: Days.
• Shift Pattern: 3x12 schedule per VMS (0700–1900).
• Shift Times: May vary between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM depending on location. 1 hour lunch.
• Duration: 13 Week assignment.
• Caseload: Outpatient orthopedic musculoskeletal injuries; collaboration with in-house doctors and specialty surgeons.
