Facility: This premier healthcare facility is part of a comprehensive health system offering advanced neonatal care services. The main campus features a state-of-the-art 49-bed Level-IIIB NICU with cutting-edge technology and equipment, supporting over 450 annual admissions with collaborative care teams and 24/7 in-house coverage.
Opportunity: Board Certified/Board Eligible - Neonatology
Job Details: • Provide in-house neonatal care coverage at the main Level-IIIB NICU with 49 beds • Manage critically ill neonates using advanced therapies including inhaled nitric oxide, high-frequency oscillatory ventilation, high-frequency jet ventilation, and therapeutic hypothermia • Care for extremely low gestational age newborns (ELGAN), including infants as young as 22 weeks • Support over 450 annual NICU admissions with an average daily census of 30 • Collaborate with a team of board-certified neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners • Work alongside NNPs providing 24/7 in-house support • Provide oversight or support to a 15-bed Level-IIIA NICU and a growing Level-II NICU • Participate in out-of-house coverage supported by telehealth services • Engage in quality improvement initiatives within the practice • Opportunity to pursue individual clinical or academic interests • Contribute to regional delivery services and neonatal care coordination • Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine • Requires Missouri Medical License or willingness to obtain • Must have clean malpractice and license history • DEA license required prior to start • Continuous coverage including weekends as part of 24/7 NICU service
