Interventional Radiology Technologist

Location: West Virginia

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day shift, 4x10 hours (Tues-Fri, 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM); no weekends or on-call required.

Job Description: The Interventional Radiology Technologist will assist with various interventional procedures and ensure proper patient care. This role includes managing a daily caseload of 10-15 cases while maintaining high standards of patient safety and comfort. The position involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in a Level IV trauma center.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, maintain, and operate imaging equipment.
• Assist physicians in performing interventional procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures.
• Utilize sterile techniques and maintain a sterile environment.
• Document all procedures and patient interactions accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of radiology experience, with at least 1 year in interventional radiology.
• Active ARRT certification and West Virginia state license required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required; ACLS preferred.
• Flu shot required unless documented allergy exists.
