Job SummaryThe organization is seeking a Pediatric Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join the team in Tacoma, Washington. This position involves supporting pediatric congenital diagnostic and interventional procedures, including cardiac catheterizations and electrophysiology studies. Candidates are required to bring their valid license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details

  • Location: Tacoma, Washington
  • Position: Pediatric Cath Lab Technologist
  • Schedule: 0700-1730; 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications; current WA state Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) and/or Cardiac Interventional Specialist Certification (CISC) license; minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in pediatric cath labs; prior experience with pediatric congenital diagnostic and interventional cases such as LHC/RHC, PDA/VSD/ASD closures, septostomy, and ballooning; familiarity with pacemaker implant, EP study, and radiofrequency ablations. Experience with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) such as Picom; hemodynamic monitoring systems like Merge; C-arm imaging (Siemens Artis); and EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems like EPIC Cupid (preferred).
  • Preferred Qualifications: Prior pediatric cath lab experience
  • Floating: No
  • Additional Information: The role includes on-call responsibilities, with a rotation of 7 call shifts over 3 weeks, including weekends. Call shifts involve response times within 45 minutes, with no sleep rooms available. Weekend coverage is call-only, with 1-2 weekends per month, approximately every third week. Scrubs are provided, including lead as needed, with extended sizing available except for lead.
