Description
School Based Health Center Registered Nurse
This 0.8 FTE role provides safe, high-quality clinical care in a primary care setting located within a school building. The RN plays a vital role in delivering primary care services directly to infants, children, and adolescents in our NCH School Based Health Centers. The RN collaborates closely with a small, dedicated team consisting of a Nurse Practitioner (NP) and other supportive staff. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, comfort working in a small space, and responsibility for the safe ordering, handling, and transport of clinical items while helping ensure accessible, convenient care for students and families.
Pay starts at: $34.82 + based on experience

Licensure Requirement:
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio, required.
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, required
Experience:
Three years of pediatric clinical experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred.
Physical Requirements:
OCCASIONALLY: Biohazard waste, Climb stairs/ladder, Color vision, Driving motor vehicles (work required) *additional testing may be required, Electricity, Fume /Gases /Vapors, Lifting / Carrying: 41-60 lbs, Loud Noises, Machinery, Power Tools, Pushing / Pulling: 100 lbs or greater with assistance, Pushing / Pulling: 61-100 lbs, Seeing – Far/near
