Strategic Account Executive (MSP & IT Services)

Location: Oakbrook, IL – Hybrid (up to 2 days remote after 6 months)

Compensation: OTE $125K+

Travel: As needed (client meetings, trade shows)

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed annual revenue goals
  • Drive lead generation, identify client needs, and close new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers

Prospecting & Pipeline Development

  • Identify target accounts and develop outreach strategies
  • Execute daily sales activities including phone calls, video meetings, in-person presentations, and event participation
  • Maintain a strong and consistent sales pipeline

Sales Execution & CRM Management

  • Deliver tailored proposals aligned with client needs
  • Maintain accurate records of all activities within CRM systems
  • Manage full sales cycle from prospecting through close and transition to client success

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, marketing, finance, and leadership teams
  • Refine sales strategies based on performance data and market feedback
  • Collaborate with client success teams to ensure seamless handoff and future growth opportunities

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of proven sales or business development experience with a track record of revenue growth
  • Experience selling IT services or within the technology sector (MSP experience preferred)
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools
  • Experience with social selling and building relationships via platforms like LinkedIn
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a "seller/doer" role within IT or professional services
  • Familiarity with managed services, cloud solutions, or IT infrastructure offerings
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization
  • Compensation & Benefits

    Base Salary: Included within OTE On-Target Earnings (OTE) / Bonus Structure: $125,000+ (first year) Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision; 401(k) with company match

    • Hybrid flexibility (remote up to 2 days/week after 6 months)
