Speech Language Pathologist

The primary function of our Speech Language Pathologist role is to provide Occupational Therapy (ST) services for residents of Kendal-Crosslands Communities (KCC) as defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of ST Licensure; Serves on committees as designated bythe Director of Rehabilitation and Wellness and/or the Rehabilitation Services Manager. Actively participates in in-service training programs, both within the KCC community and within professional programs outside of KCC; Maintains clinical medical record documentation to meet all Federal and State requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology Program and licensed to practice in Pennsylvania.
• Holds an ASHA certificate of clinical competency (CCC)
• A minimum of two years' experience working with adult population preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license in state of residence.
• Must be insurable by the Kendal-Crosslands Communities professional liability insurance.

Physical Demands:

• Walking, standing, and bending most of the day.
• Able to push, pull, lift, and transfer residents weighing up to 250 pounds including wheelchair transport on indoor and outdoor surfaces.
