General Warehouse | Utility - Entry Level
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic production environment, performing a variety of production, warehouse, and custodial tasks, including but not limited to:
- Production Tasks:
- Stack floor-loaded containers.
- Space and de-space pallets.
- Repack boxes as needed.
- Lift and move 45–75 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Secure products with stretch wrap and apply correct labels.
- Record material details such as weight, count, and condition using an RF system.
- Conduct inventory counts and updates as required.
- Label, sort, stack, tie, and repack products according to operational needs.
- Custodial and General Warehouse Tasks:
- Sweep, mop, wash, and remove trash to maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area at all times.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required safety gear, including company-provided cold-weather PPE.
- Other Duties:
- Assist with inventory or utility tasks as assigned.
- Perform additional duties as necessary to support operational goals.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds.
- Basic proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Willingness and ability to:
- Complete a basic math skills assessment.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proficient in basic English and math.
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Comfortable working in cold environments for extended periods.
Work Environment
- Frequent exposure to extremely cold temperatures (cold storage).
- Regular exposure to moving machinery and moderate noise levels.
Work Hours
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 30 min unpaid lunch
- End time will depend on workload schedule
- Overtime, weekend, and holiday work may be required.
- 2nd Shift: 6:30 PM – 3:30 AM
- 30 min unpaid lunch

Physical and Mental Demands
- Frequent: Standing, walking, sitting, handling, reaching outward and above shoulders.
- Occasional: Climbing, squatting, kneeling, bending.
- Regularly lift, push, and pull 45–75 lbs.
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Adhere to grooming, hygiene, and dress code policies.
- Frequent exposure to cold temperatures and moderate warehouse noise.
