Description
Our team is looking for a detail-oriented professional to join us in the South Park area of Charlotte. If you have exposure to the commercial real estate world and are looking to transition into a career in property management, this is the perfect entry-level opportunity to grow with an established firm.
As an Assistant Property Manager, you will be the "right hand" to our leadership team, ensuring our commercial portfolio operates at peak performance. You'll balance office-based administration with hands-on property inspections, tenant relations, and financial tracking.
Tenant & Client Relations: Act as a professional point of contact for tenant requests and building owners.
Operations & Maintenance: Coordinate work orders via CMMS, monitor vendor contracts, and perform regular facility inspections.
Financial Support: Assist with property budgets, track variances, and manage rent collections/receivables.
Lease Administration: Learn to abstract commercial leases and ensure all contractual obligations are met.
Commercial Exposure: You must have some experience in the commercial property world.
Note: We are specifically looking for commercial backgrounds; applicants with only residential/apartment experience will not be considered.
Tech Savvy: High proficiency in MS Office (Excel is key) and comfort learning CMMS software.
Problem Solvers: You can think on your feet and communicate clearly with everyone from maintenance crews to corporate executives.
Requirements: A valid Driver's License and the ability to pass a background check/drug screening.
Location: In-office, Charlotte, NC (South Park area).
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday (40 hours/week).
Compensation: $58,000 – $64,000 per year (Salaried).
