Liberty Staffing is hiring an experienced CNC Machinist for a growing manufacturing facility in Mesa, AZ. This role is responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts while maintaining quality and efficiency standards.
If you have hands-on experience with CNC equipment and understand how to read blueprints and run programs, this is a solid opportunity with long-term potential.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines for drilling, milling, grinding, and other machining processes
- Operate additional equipment including band saws, surface grinders, and honing machines
- Develop and edit CAD/CAM programs for machining processes
- Load raw materials and parts into machines
- Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet specifications
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment
- Follow all safety procedures and production guidelines
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts
- Support other departments as needed
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Completed apprenticeship preferred
- Minimum 2 years of CNC machining experience
- Experience with Haas and/or Mazak machines is a plus
- Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Basic programming knowledge and experience with CAD/CAM
- Computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with systems such as Adobe, E2, or Global Shop is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to cross-train in other departments
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, AS9100, or ISO 13485 standards
