OFFICE MANAGING ATTORNEY

A real estate attorney leading their own office within a larger firm is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the office's legal practice related to real estate transactions. Key Responsibilities & Objectives

Business Development:

  • Ensure legal compliance and excellence in all aspects of real estate law.

Marketing and Branding:

  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to enhance the visibility and reputation of legal practice.
  • Establish a strong brand presence in the local market.

Networking:

  • Engage in networking activities to build connections within the legal community, real
  • estate industry, and local business community.
  • Attend industry events and actively participate in relevant professional associations.

Innovation and Adaptation:

  • Introduce innovative approaches, services, or technologies to stay competitive in the market.
  • Adapt to changing legal landscapes and client needs.

Risk Management:

  • Identify and manage legal and business risks associated with real estate transactions and the operation of the legal practice.

  • Provide general hospitality (e.g., greeting clients, preparing closing rooms).

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to meet organizational needs.

Qualifications

Educational Background:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
