Description

A New York-based healthcare organization is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a great Per Diem position at one of their outpatient clinics in Madison County.
About the Opportunity:

  • Schedule: Specific date blocks from April to November, with consistency preferred in October and November
  • Hours: Variable by location
  • Setting: Outpatient clinics
Responsibilities:
  • Taking and recording vital signs
  • Preparing patients for exams
  • Administering injections and immunizations
  • Performing venipuncture and lab draws
  • Conducting EKGs and CLIA-waived testing
  • Handling specimen collection (urine, throat, etc.)
  • Assisting with prescription verification
  • Supporting providers during patient visits
  • Preparing exam rooms, cleaning equipment, and restocking supplies
  • Participating in daily huddles (schedule + follow-ups)
  • Ensuring infection control and OSHA compliance
  • Assisting with patient flow and coordination of care
Qualifications:
  • Prior LPN experience (clinic or relevant setting preferred)
  • Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
  • Active NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • Experience with injections
  • Experience with lab draws
  • Patient-facing clinical work
Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Working knowledge of EMR
  • Experience with MEDENT or Oracle systems
