As a third-party recruiter, I'm hiring on behalf of a confidential healthcare client that needs someone who can jump in quickly, keep the front desk running smoothly, and deliver a welcoming experience for every patient. What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
Greet patients, manage check-in/check-out , and ensure accurate demographic updates
Answer high-volume inbound calls, route messages, and provide excellent customer service
Schedule/reschedule appointments and help manage provider calendars
Verify insurance, confirm eligibility, and collect co-pays (as applicable)
Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR/EMR and follow HIPAA guidelines
Support day-to-day front office workflow (scanning, faxing, filing, records requests, etc.)
Communicate effectively with clinical staff to keep patient flow organized and efficient
What We're Looking For
Prior experience in a medical front office , patient access, or clinic receptionist role (preferred)
Comfort with multi-line phones, scheduling, and fast-paced patient-facing work
Experience with EHR/EMR systems (Epic/Centricity/NextGen/eClinicalWorks or similar is helpful)
Strong attention to detail (accuracy with patient info + insurance)
Professional communication, reliability, and a team-first attitude
Bilingual skills (Spanish/English) are a plus, but not required
