Step into a contract opportunity that will allow you to make a difference in the lives of students in supportive, specialized educational environments. This position calls for a skilled Occupational Therapist with a passion for working within school settings, offering expertise to students in grades 1 through 9 across two local academies. With start dates available immediately, you'll work closely with a diverse caseload providing a mix of direct and consultative support to students receiving Emotional and Autistic Support services. Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license required for Pennsylvania
  • Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations, especially those with emotional and/or autistic support needs
  • Comfortable managing small, focused caseloads and flexible service schedules
  • Ability to independently organize sessions and consults, as supervision for new graduates is not available
  • Excellent collaborative skills for teaming with educators, families, and other related service providers
Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct therapy sessions for assigned students, adjusting frequency based on individualized needs
  • Provide consultative services monthly to target areas of compensatory support
  • Evaluate and document student progress, ensuring effective communication with team members
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to emotional and autistic support caseloads
  • Adapt activity plans to foster engagement and maximize student potential within the academic environment
