Scheduling Coordinator LHH Recruitment is partnering with a non profit organization near Central Phoenix who is in search of a scheduling coordinator to join their team. This role is fully onsite, Monday-Friday 8am-430pm. The hourly rate is $27/hr This position is idealfor someone who is highly organized, communicates effectively, and is comfortable working in a traditional, "old school" office environment with minimal technology and manual processes.The Scheduling Coordinator will serve as a key point of contact for workforce scheduling, job assignments, and administrative support while ensuring workers are properly dispatched and staffing needs are met efficiently.Responsibilities
Coordinate and schedule labor and union workers for assigned job sites
Communicate daily assignments, schedule changes, and dispatch information to workers and supervisors
Maintain accurate scheduling records, logs, and paperwork
Answer incoming calls and assist workers, contractors, and internal staff with scheduling inquiries
Monitor attendance, availability, and job site coverage needs
Assist with resolving scheduling conflicts and last-minute staffing adjustments
Support administrative functions including filing, data entry, and document management
Ensure all scheduling information is updated accurately and communicated in a timely manner
Work closely with internal teams to support operational and workforce needs
Qualifications
Previous scheduling, dispatching, workforce coordination, or administrative experience required
Union or labor workforce experience strongly preferred
Experience working in a nonprofit or union environment is a plus
Comfortable working in a traditional office setting with limited technology and paper-based processes
Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
Good typing skills(use of a typewriter will be part of daily tasks)
