Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 05/26/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview Shift: Days, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: May 26, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring 2 years of PACU experience and Epic proficiency in a hospital setting. Details Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) in an acute hospital setting Phase II recovery patient population Day shift, 12-hour shifts: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM 36 hours per week On-call required: Monday–Friday, 3–4 overnight shifts (11 PM–7 AM) per 6-week schedule Weekend on-call required: 2–12 hour shifts (day or night) per 6-week schedule Holiday on-call required: 1 twelve-hour holiday call shift No floating required EMR: Epic (experience required) Requirements Active MD or Compact RN license currently in hand Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS Minimum 2 years of PACU experience, including Phase II recovery Experience at a comparable facility size (500 bed count) required SSN and DOB required for consideration 1 professional reference required for consideration Additional Information Local candidates are accepted at the same bill rate American Traveler Job ID P-704671.
