Landscape Enhancement Crew Leader - Romulus / Detroit, MI We're growing in the Romulus and greater Detroit area and are excited to add new team members to our team! DJ's Landscape Management is hiring Landscape Enhancement Crew Leaders to support our installation and landscape construction projects. In this hands-on leadership role, you'll lead a crew, operate equipment, and take full ownership of landscape installation projects from start to finish. You'll complete projects such as planting, mulching, and bed installation while leading your team in delivering high-quality work. As a Crew Leader, you'll prepare equipment, direct and develop your crew, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards. Compensation & Benefits

Responsibilities - What You'll Do
Lead and work alongside a landscape enhancement crew, taking ownership of projects from start to finish
Bring outdoor spaces to life through planting, mulching, bed enhancements, and detailed landscape improvements
Operate skid steers and other equipment safely and efficiently
Prepare and organize equipment and materials to set your crew up for success each day
Ensure every job is completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards
Train, guide, and support crew members while building a strong, reliable team
Maintain equipment and keep job sites clean and organized
Communicate with supervisors and take responsibility for overall crew performance in the field
Requirements - What We Are Looking For
1-2 years of landscape installation experience required
Experience operating skid steers and similar equipment preferred
Previous leadership or crew lead experience required
Valid Chauffeur's License required (or ability to obtain)
Must meet DOT requirements (medical card and acceptable driving record)
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to lift, bend, and perform physical work throughout the day
Strong work ethic, reliability, and team mindset
Ability to manage time and stay organized on job sites
Smartphone required
