Description
Provides intake diagnosis, administers CBT counseling by conducting individual and/or family session, case-management, and psycho-education in accordance with Texas Resilience and Recovery Guidelines. Work performed will occur in community settings as necessary to meet client needs, in addition to some office-based services. Will be authorizing Levels of Care based on Uniform Assessment (UA) recommendations. Develops individualized person recovery centered plans with measurable outcomes, reviews and updates plan every 90 days, and participates in clinical consultations. Works under moderate supervision with latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
Requirements
Master's degree in Social, Behavioral, or Human Services plus State of Texas licensure as a Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LCSW, LPC, LMFT...). One (1) year experience in the Mental Health Field, preferably Crisis Services, Required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
Must complete State-mandated Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Online within 30-45 days of hire. (HHSC training requirements)
Must become certified to complete the State approved Uniform Assessment for Adults or Child/Youth within 90 days of hire and maintain that certification without lapse.
