Description
LaSalle Network is hiring a Buyer to support a growing procurement team focused on large-scale construction and international projects. This Buyer role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys ownership of the full procurement lifecycle and wants to make a direct impact on project success. What you'll be doing:
- Manage sourcing and procurement of construction materials, equipment and services
- Lead RFQs/ITBs from creation through bid evaluation and award
- Analyze vendor bids and drive cost savings through negotiation and BAFO processes
- Partner with project teams and Work Package Managers to ensure accurate purchasing
- Issue and manage purchase orders within ViewPoint
- Track supplier performance through delivery, quality and cost metrics
- Support logistics and material expediting as needed
- Maintain accurate reporting and procurement documentation
- 3-5+ years of procurement experience as a Buyer (construction preferred)
- Minimum associate's degree required
- Strong negotiation, communication and analytical skills
- Ability to obtain security clearance
- Strong understanding of RFQs, sourcing and vendor management
- Proficient Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
