Maintenance Technician Job Type: Direct HireSchedule: Monday – Thursday | 5:00 PM – 3:30 AMPay: Competitive pay based on experience We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our client's manufacturingteam on 2nd shift in Mechanic Falls, Maine. This individual will independently maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment with moderate complexity while supporting efficient production operations.The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, industrial maintenance experience, and the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues quickly and safely.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance and routine equipment repairs independently

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and PLC systems

  • Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and restore operations quickly

  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals

  • Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications

  • Perform tooling changeovers on production equipment while ensuring products meet specifications

  • Implement programs to minimize machine downtime and production changeovers

  • Use machine shop tools to fabricate parts and complete repairs

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management in support of business goals

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred
