We believe in and are firmly committed to equal employment opportunity for employees and applicants. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin, ancestry, age, religion, disability, sex or gender, gender identity and/or expression, sexual orientation, military or veteran status. This commitment applies to all aspects of the Health Federation of Philadelphia's employment practices, including recruiting, hiring, training, and promotion.
JOB SUMMARY
The Health Federation of Philadelphia (HFP) was awarded a five-year Regional Partnership Grant (RPG) from the Children's Bureau in 2022 to lead a cross-sector collaboration in Philadelphia and Bucks counties. As part of this grant, the Health Federation of Philadelphia Young Child and Parent Project (YCPP) provides evidence-based interventions, cross-systems collaboration, and training in two counties of Pennsylvania with severe substance use and child welfare challenges. Clinical interventions for YCPP combine two evidence-based interventions: Mothering from the Inside Out and Child Parent Psychotherapy (MIO-CPP). These services are offered to families enrolled in residential substance use disorder (SUD) treatment services. The primary objective of this project is to improve child well-being, permanency and safety, and reduce the risk for involvement in the child welfare system for children pre-birth to five who are affected by parental SUDS.
This Child Parent Specialist is a full-time, grant funded position working with the Health Federation of Philadelphia Regional Partnership Grant. The Child Parent Specialist will be responsible for recruiting participants, providing all assessments, intervention, and referral services to eligible families.
