Hospital: Grand Strand Medical Center Location: Myrtle Beach, SC Address: 809 82nd Parkway Unit: Radiology Building: Main Campus General Information Unit Specifics: · Number of Beds : 400 · Patient Ratios : Average 180 CT exams per day – 3 scanners · Unit staffing description-: 2 Techs per scanner-day/ Total 3 techs/overnights · Type of equipment : Client 512, Client 128, Client 32 slice · Documentation system: Meditech · Scheduling requirements: n/a · Floating policy: n/a · Patient Experience requirements: Perform ED and IP only. Compassionate care model. Hospital Specifics- · Certifications: Joint Commission Accredited. · CT – ACR accredited Hiring profile Years of Experience Required: At least 1 yr experience in level 1 trauma setting Requested Skill Set: Ability to operate Client CT equipment independently Must have: Advanced skills needed: Ability to perform routine CT exams for all types of ED and IP's. Procedures performed on unit: Routine CT exams for ED and IP's to include Trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, CTA. Certifications Required: ARRT Radiography required; CT preferred. Dress Code: (Required uniform) · Charcoal grey.
