Panel/Footrest Builder

Hooker Furnishings, in its 101st year of business, is a designer, marketer and importer of case goods (wooden and metal furniture), leather furniture and fabric-upholstered furniture for the residential, hospitality and contract markets. Position Summary

We are looking for a dependable Panel Builder with great attention to detail to join our accessory team in Hickory, NC. This individual will:

• Experienced in the furniture industry.
• Ability to use a variety of tools including staple guns, pneumatic lifts, and hand tools.
• Read tickets and match poly and fabrics to panels
• Load work carts with appropriate pieces to ensure teams are stocked with work

Candidates that will be a great fit will:

• Have at least one year of furniture experience in manufacturing.
• Be okay with standing 8-9 hours a day and working independently
• Have the ability to read tickets and specs based on individual jobs
• Have strong attention to detail and desire to build panels not just quantity, but high quality

Shift: Monday to Thursday 7 am-4:30 pm and Friday 7 am - 11 am Pay: Dependent on experience
