Requirements:

  • Customer Service: While server assistants and food runners may have limited interaction with members and guests, they should possess good customer service skills. Being polite, attentive, and responsive to member and guest needs is important.
  • Teamwork: Server assistants and food runners work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and other staff. They should be able to collaborate effectively with co-workers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Physical Stamina: This job often requires standing for long periods and lifting heavy trays of dishes. Physical stamina and the ability to handle the demands of a fast-paced environment are essential.
  • Time Management: They must be able to prioritize tasks and manage their time effectively, especially during busy periods when there may be multiple tasks to complete.
  • Adherence to Safety and Sanitation Standards: Server assistants and food runners should follow proper safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and hygienic dining environment.
  • Flexibility: They should be willing to assist with various tasks as needed.
