Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Travel Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care in an inpatient adolescent psychiatric setting for patients aged 14-17. The RN will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring effective treatment plans are followed.
Responsibilities
- Manage clinical activities within the assigned unit, ensuring adherence to nursing philosophy and standards.
- Formulate and monitor the unit's capital and personnel budgets.
- Direct staffing and scheduling of nursing personnel while supervising the delivery of patient care.
- Coordinate orientation and educational needs for nursing staff.
- Maintain effective working relationships with other disciplines and promote positive public relations for the Nursing Department.
- Current RN license.
- BLS certification required.
- Inpatient adolescent psychiatric experience is mandatory.
- De-escalation training/certification is required; can attend SAFE Training Course onsite if necessary.
- Floating required to Adolescent and Geriatric Behavioral Health units.
