Team Leader Arborist

Responsibilities
As a Team Leader Arborist, you will play an important role in:
- Perform and supervise all aspects of arboriculture safely, including:
- Pruning
- Cable and bracing
- Sprays
- Moves
- Properly maintain and operate equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts)
- Bring a cooperative and enthusiastic attitude to the workplace
- Supervise and direct crews while performing tree care services, as directed by the arborist representative and local manager
- Ensure that each crew member receives the appropriate training for each assigned task
- Ensure that all arboriculture work is performed in accordance with industry and company standards
- Communicate, answer questions, and establish relationships with clients
Qualifications
- Passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors
- At least three (3) years of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift experience in the tree care industry
- Valid driver's license (Class B CDL preferred)
- Ability to work outdoors year-round in any weather conditions
- Proven initiative, positive attitude, team orientation, and self-motivation
