OFFICE OF UNDERGRAD EDUCATION - Undergraduate Advising CoordinatorJob Classification Salaried Full-time (75-100%) Position summary The Coordinator for Undergraduate Advising will work with the Program Director of First-Year Experience to assist in the implementation of institution-wide programming designed to support undergraduate students. Duties and responsibilities
Advising
Advise first-year students as needed and assist academic departments in the onboarding of new students.
Coordinate the assignment of faculty and staff advisors at the undergraduate level.
Assist in yearly advisor training
Coordinate summer registration campaign for undergraduate students
Work with college-level deans to ensure timely registration of all new students
Program coordinator for the Explore Andrews Program
Pre-College Services
Assist in the advising of Main campus high school students
Assist in the recruiting and planning of summer programs
Act as the program director for the Explore Andrews Summer Camp
Communicate with new students beginning at the point of admission.
Communications
Maintain office web pages and social media pages as needed.
Communicate with new students beginning at the point of admissions.
Supervisory responsibilities Position supervises student workers. Position supervises summer staff contracts for the yearly registration campaign. Qualifications Education : Bachelor's degree required Experience : Must have at least 2 years of experience in student services, counseling, or a related field. Preferred fields include enrollment management, academic advising, undergraduate programming, or pre-college programs. Skills

Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills
Mastery of Microsoft Office programs
