In this role, you will administer radiation treatments as prescribed by physicians while ensuring safe, accurate, and compassionate patient care. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative clinical setting and values both autonomy and teamwork. Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Hours: 40 hours per week Key Responsibilities
- Deliver radiation therapy treatments according to physician orders and treatment plans
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout treatment procedures
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and treatment records
- Collaborate with physicians, physicists, dosimetrists, and oncology staff to ensure effective treatment delivery
- Operate and work within radiation oncology systems and equipment
- Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain compliance with applicable regulations
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams
- ssist with additional departmental responsibilities as needed
- ssociate's degree in Radiation Therapy or equivalent
- ctive Radiation Therapy Certification in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Experience with Aria software
- Experience with Eclipse Treatment Planning systems
- Experience with Phillips CT systems
- Previous radiation oncology experience preferred
- Radiation treatment delivery
- Patient care and communication
- Radiation safety compliance
- Clinical documentation accuracy
- Critical thinking and problem-solving
