Job Description Job Summary: Assist licensed physical therapists in providing rehabilitative therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting. Ensure effective treatment delivery and patient progress monitoring under supervision. Responsibilities:
Collaborate with physical therapists to develop and implement treatment plans.
Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities to patients.
Monitor patient responses and document progress accurately.
Maintain updated knowledge of SNF protocols and rehabilitation procedures.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards, including licensing requirements.
Support the care team in delivering quality patient care.
Qualifications:
Hold a current and active CA license as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
Preferably possess SNF experience and familiarity with NetHealth (Rehab Optima).
Demonstrate strong clinical skills in rehabilitative therapies.
Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Be detail-oriented with the ability to follow treatment plans precisely.
Hold relevant certifications as required by state regulations.
