They set shift goals, assign tasks to team members, ensure processes are properly followed, and respond to guests needs./ppWhy work at Zax?/pulliFree Meals On Shift 50% Off Meals Off Shift/liliFlexible Schedule/liliEarly Access to Pay/liliPaid Training/liliOpportunities to Advance/li/ulpBenefits/pulliRecognition Program/liliEmployee Referral Program/liliMedical Insurance/liliDental Insurance/liliVision Insurance/liliShort-Term Disability/liliLong-Term Disability/liliEmployer Paid Life Insurance/lili401(k) With Employer Match (additional eligibility requirements)/li/ulpDuties and Responsibilities/pulliComplete all training requirements including:/liliZaxbys Shift Leader Development Plan/liliFood Safety Certification/liliAny additional training required by Zax LLC/liliCreates a culture of high-performance and trains and coaches team members to meet all company standards/liliMentor, coach and develop team members and communicate performance concerns to your General Manager/liliPrioritizes the guest and team member experience and resolves complaints and concerns in friendly and respectful manner/liliCreate and maintain a positive culture and healthy team morale through recognition and leading by example/liliCommunicates shift goals and motivates team members to meet goals and perform to their highest ability level/liliDelegates tasks to team members and supervises performance during a shift/liliMaintain operational standards and ensure compliance with all Zaxbys Franchising LLC and Zax LLC guidelines, policies, and procedures/liliEnsure service, product quality, and cleanliness standards are consistently upheld/liliEnhance guest experiences by ensuring that team members satisfy and exceed guest expectations/liliReceives and reconciles truck deliveries, ensures product is properly stocked, and completes daily inventory counts./liliManages food production and quality by monitoring prepping, cooking, and holding processes and taking corrective action when necessary/liliTracks food safety and quality throughout the shift and ensures guests receive accurate orders that meet company standards and guests satisfaction/liliPlans shift duties and ensures opening and closing duties are complete/liliCollaborates with management team to develop goals and reports back to management on goal progress/liliEnsure processes, policies, and procedures are properly followed throughout daily operations/liliFollows company cash management policies/liliMaintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws and guidelines/liliUtilize management tools and keep neat, accurate, and current records/liliMaintain an attitude of flexibility that allows performance above and beyond the parameters of this position description/liliEnsure the team works safely and follows all safety guidelines and procedures/liliImmediately report all human resources and risk management concerns to your General Manager and District Manager/liliEscalate other concerns to your supervisor when appropriate/liliAll other duties necessary to ensure restaurant operations function properly/li/ulpJob Qualifications/ppThe following requirements must be met in order to qualify for this position./pulliMust be 18 years of age or older/liliMust have reliable transportation/liliAvailable to work a minimum of 5 days and 32 to 40 hours per week/liliAbility to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays/liliSuccessful completion of background check/liliDemonstrates leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others/liliLeadership experience preferred/li/ulpCapability Requirements/ppThe following capabilities are required to perform the essential functions of this position.
