Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $90,000 to $105,000 per year. Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support strategic planning.
  • Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Analyze financial performance and explain variances between actual results and forecasts.
  • Oversee the general ledger and manage month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in preparing tax returns.
Requirements:
  • Establish and maintain internal controls to protect assets and ensure data integrity.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data.
  • Manage multiple priorities effectively while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a proactive and professional manner.
  • Apply advanced Excel skills and financial modeling techniques in daily tasks.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in public and corporate accounting.
  • Show prior experience in the banking or financial services industry (preferred).
  • Use accounting software and ERP systems proficiently.
  • Communicate clearly and work well in a team-oriented environment.
