Security Officer

We are currently seeking part-time Unarmed Security Officers for the Charlotte and Concord areas.

Responsibilities:
- Patrol and monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
- Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances.
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of the premises.
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Warn persons of rule infractions or violations and evict violators from the premises.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or provide documentation allowing residency and authorization to work.
- Must provide a high level of customer service.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Neat in appearance and grooming.
- Ability to pass a drug screening and background investigation.
- Reliable transportation and phone.
- Military and/or law enforcement experience preferred but not required.
- Must meet NC PPSB license requirements.
Certification Requirements:
- Unarmed PPSB License
This job reports to Clifton Wilkins. This is a part-time position 2nd shift, 3rd shift, weekends.
