- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university.
- Valid, unrestricted Physical Therapy license in Michigan.
- Current CPR certification .
- Assist with the development of departmental policies, procedures, and standards of care.
- Provide in-service education to hospital staff and external groups as needed.
- Stay up to date with advancements in the field of Physical Therapy.
- Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with licensure and the patient's age and needs.
- Document patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Help manage departmental records and generate special reports as required.
- Ability to lift or carry up to 60 pounds frequently, and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
