  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university.
  • Valid, unrestricted Physical Therapy license in Michigan.
  • Current CPR certification .
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist with the development of departmental policies, procedures, and standards of care.
  • Provide in-service education to hospital staff and external groups as needed.
  • Stay up to date with advancements in the field of Physical Therapy.
  • Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with licensure and the patient's age and needs.
  • Document patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
  • Help manage departmental records and generate special reports as required.
  • Ability to lift or carry up to 60 pounds frequently, and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
