ARRT Mammography Tech

MLR is seeking a skilled and dedicated Mammography Technologist to join our client's esteemed Outpatient Breast Center team located in Houston, Texas!
Key Responsibilities for a Mammography Technologist:
  • Operate mammography equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Review physician orders and patient history to confirm appropriate imaging procedures are conducted.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to obtain high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
  • Maintain detailed records of imaging procedures and patient information within the hospital's electronic systems.
  • Monitor patients during procedures, providing clear instructions and compassionate assistance as needed.
  • Adhere to safety protocols to ensure patient safety and comply with regulatory standards.
  • Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting mammography equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
Mammography Technologist Qualifications:
  • Current Texas licensure as a Radiologic Technologist is required.
  • Texas Medical Board - MRT certification is required.
  • ARRT Certification in Mammography is required.
