Job Summary: Provide essential support to inpatients, outpatients, healthcare associates, and physicians by accurately and courteously collecting laboratory specimens. Perform related laboratory duties with professionalism and competence.
Essential Responsibilities:
First shift, 40 hours per week.
This position is located in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Ensure accuracy in specimen collection and patient identification.
- Adhere strictly to all regulatory agency guidelines and quality assurance/quality control protocols.
- Manage workload efficiently and monitor outstanding specimen reports.
- Resolve problems promptly and maintain productivity standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Completion of a phlebotomy training program or relevant post-medical training is required.
- At least one year of phlebotomy experience is preferred.
