Advance Fleet Services is looking for a highly skilled Level A Diesel Technician who takes pride in diagnosing problems correctly and fixing them right the first time. This is not an entry-level role. We're looking for someone who can work independently, handle complex diagnostics, and set the standard for quality in the shop. What You'll Do Advanced:

Diagnostics & Repair

● Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues

● Perform in-depth troubleshooting on diesel engines, trailers, and fleet equipment

● Handle jobs that go beyond basic service; this is where your expertise matters

Quality Workmanship

● Complete repairs accurately and efficiently with minimal supervision

● Ensure all work meets company and industry standards

● Stand behind your work, reducing comebacks and repeat repairs, Preventative

Maintenance & Inspections

● Perform thorough inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems

● Complete preventative maintenance services with attention to detail

Team Support

● Assist and mentor junior technicians when needed

● Collaborate with the Service Manager and team to keep workflow moving

● Communicate clearly about job status, parts needs, and potential delays Shop Responsibility

● Maintain tools and equipment in good working order

● Keep your workspace clean, organized, and safe

● Follow all safety procedures and best practices

What We're Looking For:

● 5+ years of hands-on diesel technician experience

● Strong diagnostic skills (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic)

● Ability to work independently and solve problems efficiently

● Experience with fleet maintenance and repair

● Own tools required (specialty tools a plus)

● CDL and/or certifications are a plus, but not required
