  • Engage in Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, medical professionals, and nurses to provide holistic care
  • Educate Patients and Families: Teach patients and caregivers effective therapy methods to promote progress and recovery at home
  • Monitor and Document Progress: Evaluate clinical outcomes, adjusting treatment protocols as necessary to ensure patient success
Qualifications
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university
  • Opportunities for continuing education or post-graduate certifications are available and encouraged
Required Credentials
  • Active OTR (Registered Occupational Therapist) license required
  • Certification from NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) is a must
