Special Education Teacher

We are seeking a Special Education Teacher to join our team of Special Education Teachers in our K-5 ERI self-contained program. We offer opportunities for training to support new staff with developing the necessary skills to thrive in a self-contained program.Description: Responsible for all planning and instruction as per district curriculum. Responsible for writing and following student IEPs, making modifications to curriculum, and individualizing instruction. Qualifications: Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certification AND NJ Elementary Teaching Certification (K-6). Experience: Elementary teaching experience preferred. Experience teaching in a self-contained setting preferred. Employment Period: Ten (10) Months Salary: $67,380.00 - $108,300.00 Union Affiliation: SBEA Benefits: Full-time staff are eligible for Medical, Prescription and Dental Benefits.
