The Technician will be responsible for providing inspections, installations, and service on a variety of fire alarm system devices (primarily industrial) in a professional and timely manner./ppJob Responsibilities:/pulliProvide exceptional customer service to clients by addressing their inquiries, concerns, and service requests promptly and professionally./liliAbility to work independently while providing excellent communication with customers, direct supervisor, and service team members./liliThe Fire Alarm Service Technician will perform both routine inspection, scheduled repairs, and emergency service calls./liliPerform routine service and maintenance tasks on fire alarm systems in primarily industrial, and occasionally commercial and residential buildings./liliThis includes inspecting, testing, cleaning components, and verifying system functionality./liliIdentify and diagnose issues with fire alarm systems./liliTroubleshoot and repair faulty components, wiring, and equipment to restore optimal system performance./liliProvides customer instruction on system operation and functionality./liliAbility to manage job scheduling and job progress in an efficient and cost-effective manner, with a strong focus on quality./liliRespond to service requests, must be able to accurately diagnose fire alarm system malfunctions and adjust, repair, or replace equipment as needed to bring into compliance./liliEducate customers on fire alarm system functionality, best practices, and emergency response procedures./liliComplete and submit all required task-related, activity, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner./liliMaking sure all work complies with relevant codes and regulations./liliEnsure proper Maintenance and care of equipment trucks, lifts, tools, etc./liliManage their time to complete the maximum amount of service, inspection, and installation calls while maintaining a high level of quality./liliAchieve any weekly productivity goals assigned by the Fire Alarm Manager or designated Agent./liliLearn applicable fire protection codes and obtain applicable state licensing./li/ulpJob Qualifications:/pulliApplicable licensing and certification required by National, State and Local codes./liliNICET Certification and or verifiable work history of 5+ years desired (Fire Sprinkler Experience is a plus but not required)./liliExperience in industrial applications preferred./liliAbility to learn applicable installation, inspection, and servicing codes./liliA strong work ethic and professional appearance./liliExcellent communications, and customer service skills./liliPossess a valid drivers license and driving record that meets company requirements./li/ulpSuccessful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required.
