PM Shift - Part Time Available A Banquet Set-up person is responsible preparing banquet space for all banquet functions in a timely, friendly and efficient manner in our continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service. Responsibilities:
Responsible for moving tables, chairs, staging and any other banquet equipment with proper use of hand trucks, carts and dollies in a safe manner.
Set up banquet rooms exactly as the contract states: this includes chairs, tables, staging, skirting of tables, water stations, buffets, etc.
Responsible for the breakdown and storage of furniture and equipment upon completion of banquet catering functions. This includes cleaning and vacuuming meeting rooms.
Treat guests with courtesy, friendliness and respect and provide responsive service.
Communicates with the Catering department for information on changes in events and adjusts as necessary.
Notify management of any pertinent information related to shift activities
Qualifications:
Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, staying on your feet, climbing stairs, carrying heavyweights.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
Flexibility to work shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to lift minimum of 30lbs. Push pull or move 300lbs.
