Details Labor & Delivery unit in a 61-bed acute care facility Unit consists of 7 total rooms, a nursery licensed for 11 bassinets, and 9 maternity beds, with overflow rooms available adjacent to the unit Level One Nursery — higher-risk births are transferred to a tertiary center Staffing ratios follow AWHONN guidelines Cerner EMR Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week Floating within scope may occasionally be required, though infrequently anticipated 13-week contract Requirements Active VT or compact RN license required Current certifications required: BLS, NRP, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Labor & delivery and postpartum experience preferred BSN not required Additional Information Responsibilities include antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care RN may scrub to receive the neonate from the sterile field during C-sections, but full scrub or circulating duties are not required This facility is not a trauma center Local candidates are not eligible for this position American Traveler Job ID P-711291.
