Financial Services Associate

As a Financial Services Associate, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing friendly, efficient, and accurate service. You'll assist with routine banking transactions, promote financial products, and help customers achieve their financial goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing routine financial transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, loan payments, and transfers
  • Balancing cash drawer daily and maintaining accuracy within established tolerances
  • Identifying client needs and making appropriate referrals to other bank products and services
  • Following all bank policies, procedures, and security protocols
  • Complying with applicable laws and regulations, including BSA/AML and privacy requirements
  • Providing friendly, professional service and assisting in resolving basic client inquiries
  • Maintaining confidentiality of client information
  • Supporting branch operations as needed, including lobby coverage and operational tasks

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior cash-handling or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to learn banking systems, products, and procedures
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays.

Preferred skills:

  • Bilingual (Spanish, etc.) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with financial products such as checking, savings, loans, and credit cards.
  • Sales or referral experience in a customer-facing role.
