Responsibilities

  • Provide individual or group educational instruction to children in school, preschool, or early intervention programs.
  • Deliver educational instruction as mandated in the IEP or IFSP.
  • Assess and document the progress of each student through formal and informal tests and measures.
  • Create materials and lesson plans.
  • Oversee teaching assistants and aides, as needed.

Qualifications

  • A Masters degree in Special Education or Education from an accredited program is required.
  • Must have a current special education teacher certification from NYSED.
  • ABA experience required
