IT Project Manager
VISA Status: US Citizen, Green Card or H1B that you sponsor directly Preference in hiring: Candidates with 15-20 years' experience as an IT project manager or program manager working on large, enterprise, international projects. Seeking very mature and responsible PMs who can take charge and run with the project without being overseen.
Education & Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent business experience
- 10+ years experience in leading complex IT projects/project management
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and MS Project
- 5+ yrs. Program/Portfolio Management Experience
- 8 + yrs. experience in one or more areas of business or IT
- 1+ yrs. experience with application platform migration
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated competency in the management of multiple & large projects
- Experience with Agile Methodology/Teams and financial/status reporting specific to agile methodology
- Strong leadership capabilities and the ability to effectively influence people
- Delivery of complex projects across multiple geographies and time zones
- Diligent in PM tracking system weekly updates so all TMs Know the Score
- Vendor Management / effective liaison with Internal IT and Business teams
- 1-3 Years Industry Experience
- ERP (e.g., Oracle eBusiness) system interfaces experience
- Cloud-hosted / SaaS systems
- Business Analysis & Functional requirements definition
- Proficient in Change Management
- Expertise in Parts and Services or Customer applications projects
- Uses Terex EPMO Framework to ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high-quality standards, and meet customer expectations.
- Lead development and approval of project definition and scoping with stakeholders including clients, delivery teams, finance team, and senior management
- Support the development of cost/benefit assessments and solution recommendations
- Timely production of project deliverables: requests, SOW, finance worksheets, detailed requirements, resource planning, gate approvals, solution designs, change control, unit and regression test plans, training plans, project reviews, and status reports, reports out presentations, IRAD (issues, risks, actions, decisions), lessons learned to capture, project close out survey, etc.
- Facilitate project meetings such as team status, project planning, issue resolution, and artifact review, and ensure conclusive results with published minutes including meeting decisions and follow-up action items
- Ensure that project objectives, scope, cost, schedule, and benefits are agreed to by all stakeholders
- Develop and maintain project schedule and resource plans including staffing and capital and expense forecast
- Forecast and track actual resource expenditures and budget variances
- Lead project teams to complete projects on time, on budget, and with the highest level of quality
- Ensure that project risks are identified, communicated, and mitigated for successful project delivery
- Provide succinct communication of project status, issues, risks, decisions, and responsibility assignments to the project team and management
- Ensure project team compliance with program/project management and governance standard
- May direct assigned project managers in cases where a high-complexity project or program has multiple work streams
