Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver physical therapy treatments to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
  • Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans in a skilled nursing facility setting
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
  • Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team regarding patient status and progress

Required Qualifications

  • Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Kansas or eligibility for licensure
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Prior travel or contract therapy experience
  • Familiarity with SNF documentation and Medicare compliance requirements
