The physical therapist assistant role supports clinical interventions by providing rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders under the supervision and direction of a physical therapist. Responsibilities include administering therapeutic procedures, documenting treatment and progress, and communicating with the supervising physical therapist to adjust care plans as needed. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
