Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 8 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, evenings Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER) Location: Hagerstown, MD Facility: Meritus Medical Center Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Mid Shift | 3x12s | 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM Position Overview Seeking an experienced ER RN for a high-acuity, fast-paced Level II Trauma Center. The Emergency Department is a 54-bed blended adult/pediatric ER seeing approximately 220 patients daily. Candidates must be confident managing critical emergencies, trauma, stroke, and cardiac patients. Requirements Minimum 2 years of ER experience required At least 1 year of recent ED travel experience required Epic experience required BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC required (TNCC can be pending at submission) Preceptor and triage experience preferred Experience with ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, dysrhythmia management, IV drips, stroke and trauma patients preferred Schedule & Unit Details Mid Shift: 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM Every other weekend required 13-week assignment Ratios: 1:4 54-bed ER | 220 patients/day Level II Trauma, STEMI & Stroke Certified Facility Additional Information COVID vaccine required – no exemptions Flu vaccine and 2-step PPD required – no exemptions First-time travelers not accepted HonorVet Technologies Job ID 32344053.
